NBA 2K23 MyTEAM: Nightmare Pack

Halloween is right around the corner and NBA 2K23 has welcomed the holiday festivities by releasing another Spooky Season theme pack for its MyTEAM community.

Following the drops of both their Ferocious Pack and Glitched Pack, NBA 2K23 MyTEAM has now unleashed the Nightmare Pack, presenting an all-new set of players that each have the ability to wreak havoc on the court.

The Nightmare pack was released in NBA 2K23 yesterday and comes with 11 new players (15 cards in total), all of which are 91+ overalls. To accompany the new release, is another set of challenges that comes with three tiers to complete. Upon completing all three parts, you will receive a free Nightmare pack with a chance to draw one of these exclusive new cards.

NBA 2K23 MyTEAM: Nightmare Players

Featured Players

For this all-new edition of Nightmare pack players, NBA 2K23 decided to release two featured players. The first is the former NBA Champion and Defensive Player of the Year, Metta World Peace, a ruthless two way gem that is a problem for anyone to go up against. The second, is the four-time NBA Champion and current Lakers small forward, ‘King’ LeBron James, one of the greatest players to ever set foot on an NBA court.

Each featured player comes three different cards as indicated above, representing three different teams they played for during their careers. If you’re looking to significantly improve your lineups and cause nightmares for your opponents, you cannot go wrong with having any of the cards from either featured player.

Nightmare Three-Part Challenge

The Nightmare release comes with a three-part challenge that provides fans a great opportunity to claim some additional rewards. Upon completing all three parts, you will receive a free Nightmare pack with a chance to earn one of the new Halloween themed cards.

On that note, here’s what you will need to do in order to complete the three-part challenge:

Nightmare Challenge – Part 1

1. Play a four-quarter game (3 minutes per quarter) against Amethyst Nightmare theme team on semi-pro
2. Win the game

Nightmare Challenge – Part 2

1. Play a four-quarter game (5 minutes per quarter) against Diamond Nightmare theme team on pro
2. Score 23 points with any player

Nightmare Challenge – Part 3

1. Play Triple Threat game to 21 points against the Nightmare theme team on all-star
2. Win the game while not allowing the other team to score 15 points
