NBA 2K22 has arrived on Xbox Game Pass in time for the NBA Playoffs

2K Sports has announced that basketball sim NBA 2K22 has arrived on Xbox Game Pass this week.

The news came as somewhat a surprise, as the game wasn’t mentioned in the usual round up earlier this month. However, previous titles in the series have eventually made it onto the service, with NBA 2K21 arriving in March 2021NBA 2K22 arrives just in time for the NBA Playoffs in the real world, and Season 6, entitled Zero Gravity for the game’s MyTeam mode.

NBA 2K22 includes modes like MyTeam featuring the MyTeam draft, where players pick their team from a line-up of Player Cards. They can also take this team into the game’s revamped 3-on-3 mode, Triple Threat Online. Elsewhere, Visual Concepts have expanded MyCareer with The City on Xbox Series X|S and a cruise ship on Xbox One. There’s also plenty of basketball-related quests to complete with its own narrative arc.

That’s on top of all the basketball action from the NBA and WNBA that fans have come to expect from the series. You can check out a new trailer for Season 6 Zero Gravity below. NBA 2K22 is now available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
