Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced the release of Tekken 6 across Europe and PAL regions for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The publisher has shipped over 2.5 million units of the standard retail, Arcade Stick and Limited edition versions of the game to retailers worldwide for the launch.
Tekken 6 brings the biggest character line up in the series’ history, a brand-new Scenario Campaign mode, high-definition 60fps visuals with full-time variable animation blur, and online fight play options.
“This is a big day for us. The European market and fans have always been very important to the success of Tekken so we’re thrilled that Tekken 6 will finally be in their hands today,” said Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken Project Director, Namco Bandai Games Inc. “More than 50 per cent of Tekken fans worldwide are from Europe and their feedback has played a crucial role in helping to shape the game. Reflecting this, many of the new characters added are from Europe. I hope everyone enjoys Tekken 6 and that they continue to support the franchise, and I look forward to seeing you all online.”
