Namco proves there’s room for more than Wii Fit

Namco Bandai has revealed that Wii title Family Trainer (also known as Active Life) has sold over one million units worldwide.

According to a Kotaku report the game has sold 540,000 units in North America, 320,000 units in Europe and 140,000 units in Japan. The game debuted in Japan on May 29, 2008 and hits stores across Europe and the US in September 2008.

Priced around £20 cheaper than Wii Fit, Family Trainer comes bundled with a game mat on which two players can compete simultaneously in host of game challenges.
