The Point Blank series in the arcades and on the PlayStation required gamers to take aim with a light gun. As light gun action might prove a little impractical on the DS, players are now required to shoot stuff by pointing with the stylus. Point Blank on the DS will include more than 40 mini-games, which have been taken from all three previous games in the series.

Sharp pointers can also look forward to a few new game modes, including Brain Massage mode, which analyses the player’s ability when carrying out set tasks. Also present will be Arcade mode and Freeplay. Wireless multiplayer will also be available, complete with game sharing for head to head pointing action with only one game card. Point Blank on the Nintendo DS is scheduled for release in the spring.
