In the Famitsu interview which features both Mizuguchi, founder of Q Entertainment. and Sang Youn Lee of Phantagram (the two studios are working together on N3), it has been revealed that the game is currently 80 percent complete, and the development team is now working on making the armies in the game move more realistically. Lee hopes that some tuning of the game’s AI will make individual characters respond more naturally to situations around them.

Although the delay is sure to disappoint gamers who were expecting Ninety-Nine Nights in January, Mizuguchi says that releasing a game of inferior quality would, in the end, disappoint people more. No European release date has been announced.
