Infinity Ward is offering Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 players exclusive blueprints to mark the currently ongoing World Cup football contest.

It’s an excellent way to earn some rewards – and it doesn’t even matter how good you are at shooting. All that’s being tested are your prediction skills.

As per Infinity Ward’s Twitter – all you have to do is predict the correct squads to win or draw, get them right and you’ll unlock some exclusive blueprints.

Here’s how it works. Make a prediction on the dedicated page on the in-game menu. You’ll then be presented with a game taking place in the World Cup in real life.

All you have to do is predict the winner of each game. Get it right, and you’ll get a point. Draws count as wins for both sides, so if this happens everyone – as long as they voted – gets a point.

Points will be granted according to who wins each match in the real life World Cup after the game – and then each prediction is replaced by another match. This will continue until December 2.

To earn the first blueprint, you’ll have to get two correct predictions. The second you’ll get for four correct scores. Don’t worry though, there’ll also be consolation prizes for the losing side.

Bear in mind that the prizes won’t be distributed until the end of the event. So you’ll have to wait a few days to find out if you’ve won – but it’s a nice opportunity to earn some cool stuff for minimal effort.

The first match is now over, with England versus USA coming to a 0-0 draw on November 25. The good news is, as draws count as wins for both sides – everyone who voted gets a point as long as they voted.

The next match players are being asked to vote on is Argentina versus Mexico. That match kicks off later this evening at 7pm UK time, so be quick and get your predictions in before then.

It’s not the only related tie-in for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 of course, as footballers Messi, Neymar Jr and Pogba are available as playable operators for a limited time over the next few weeks.
