According to Infinity Ward, they confirmed via Twitter: “If you are trying to change your console’s region setting in order to access #MWII early, you will experience connectivity issues and may be locked out of the game until the official launch time of your region.”

Sadly, for those who went ahead anyway, there are now a load of issues, which means you may need to delete the entire game and install it again.

As per Infinity Ward: “If you attempted to access #MWII outside of your region on PlayStation and are currently unable to connect due to a stalled in-game install screen, you may need to delete your game and reinstall it.”
