Until recently, Football Manager has been a fan favorite without much room for complaint. Sure, the graphics aren’t perfect here, but no one’s playing for hyper-realistic visuals. However, there is one persistent gripe: regen faces. Let’s be real—they often look more like haunted mannequins than actual humans. If you’ve ever seen The Polar Express, you know the type of unsettling, uncanny-valley vibes I’m talking about. And this year’s edition? They look like they’ve been rolling around in the mud.

But fear not—there’s a solution! With a quick search for “NewGan Manager,” you can get real, lifelike faces for your regens that look a little something like this. Once installed, you’ll feel even more immersed in your Football Manager universe.

Simply download a skin with an instant result button, which will add this feature right to your tactics screen and during games. YouTuber Zealand has created similar mods in the past, though I haven’t found his 2024 version (if he’s made one yet).

One of Football Manager’s biggest immersion-breakers? Your club’s kits never change. Even 20 years down the line, you’ll still be rocking that same old design and sponsor from Season 1. Enter the Football Manager Kit Creator. With this tool, you can redesign your kits on their website every season (or just every few years, to keep things fresh without going overboard). While it was initially made for Football Manager 2021 and 2022, it still works with the latest editions. Head to their site to design your dream kit and find instructions on how to install it.
