Update: Airtight Games has all but confirmed its closure, taking to Twitter to thank people for their support over the last 10 years.

“Thanks to all of the fans, family, friends and colleagues who supported us and made the last 10 years possible,” wrote the studio.

“Thanks to all of the amazing people that worked on Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum, Murdered, Soul Fjord, Pixld and DerpBike.”

Original report:

Airtight Games, the studio behind the recent Murdered: Soul Suspect, has been closed down, a report from GeekWire claims.

Having visited the Redmond office space of the studio, GeekWire posted a photo of a notice alerting passers by of a “blow out sale” as the company is “closing doors”.

The GeekWire reporter also notes that a number of the studio’s past E3 awards were seen on an empty desk.

Besides Murdered, Airtight previously worked on Dark Void for Capcom, and Quantum Conundrum led by lead Portal designer Kim Swift.

The studio was formed ten years ago by a group of games industry veterans and many of the team behind Xbox title Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge.
