MultiVersus Gizmo – class info, moveset and what we know so far

Player First Games has confirmed that Gremlins hero Gizmo will be coming to all star brawler MultiVersus, and now we’ve got a better idea how he’ll play.

The cuddly fighter will arrive in the game on Thursday, being revealed last week as yet another addition to Season 1 ahead of his previously announced evil counterpart Stripe.

Gizmo will be a separate character, it was later confirmed, so he’ll have his own moveset and won’t just be a mirror version. Thanks to a tweet from the game’s official account – we now know what those moves will be.

MultiVersus Gizmo – class and moveset

Gizmo will be a Support type character, joining existing support heroes like Velma and Steven Universe. His main attack includes a Hunters Bow that can be charged to ignite his opponent when it gets to full and cause fire damage.

His other attacks include Gizmo-A-Go-Go which will see him leap onto the back of allies, and give them some kind of buff.

Finally, Song of the Mogwai sees the fuzzball sing, spawning musical notes on the battlefield. These notes act as projectiles, and damage nearby enemies.

MultiVersus Gizmo – release date and predicted release time

Gizmo is set to arrive in MultiVersus tomorrow, Thursday September 7. He was originally scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. However, he was delayed for a couple of days so Player First could get him right.

Currently, we don’t know what time Gizmo will launch precisely. However, previous updates have landed around 6pm UK time, so we’d predict to see him join the roster around then. We’ll update should we hear more.

MultiVersus Gizmo is just one of several additional heroes still to come this Season. We’re expecting Stripe and Black Adam to come before Season 1 ends. We’re also still awaiting the arrival of Rick Sanchez, to join his grandson Morty.

We’ll update with more info once Gizmo’s live tomorrow in MultiVersus. Of course, we’ll also update our Season One Tier list as soon as we get a feel for the character.
