Life to date sales of Kinect launch titles Kinect Sports and Dance Central have surpassed one million copies, chief of staff for Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business Aaron Greenberg confirmed on Twitter overnight.
“Another NPD nugget….Kinect Sports and Dance Central are breakout hits, both selling 1 million units in US alone,” he announced.
Both titles launched alongside Kinect on November 4, 2010.
With shipments of Kinect for Xbox 360 reported to have reached eight million over the holiday season it’s hardly surprising to hear that several of its launch titles – and quite pleasingly its most enjoyable – have reached the million copies milestone in the US.
