The latest MotorStorm Apocalypse update will add several major features to the game.

The most notable addition is a mode editor, which will allow players to create their own game modes within the MotorStorm template and then play them with friends in multiplayer.

“The possibilities are vast,” explains Evolution Studios on the PlayStation Blog. “Tweak the standard Race mode so that vehicle attacks are disabled…or set-up a 5 round Eliminator mode, on mirrored tracks, for 15 Monster Trucks and 1 Buggy, with moon gravity, infinite boost and no brakes…or do something completely unexpected – we can’t wait to see what you come up with!”

The update also allows players to share their customised vehicles. Designs can be uploaded to MotorStorm.com, where your friends can then download their favourites for use in their game.

The final major addition welcomes full support for steering-wheels and PlayStation Move controllers.

There have also been minor improvements made to online play and the lobbying system.

MotorStorm Apocalypse was released back in March, and scored a respectable 8/10 our review.
