In the inaugural episode of Criterion’s Crash TV, the Burnout developer has announced some major changes that will be implemented with the upcoming “Davis” update.

Along with a day and night cycle, Criterion showed off footage of motorbikes which should bring a whole new dimension to what is already one of the most exciting titles on current platforms. Criterion is currently aiming for a July release for the “Davis” update.

Perhaps more exciting was footage of a biplane flying around Paradise City, which Criterion says it “might put in this year”, but nothing is confirmed.

In the more immediate future, Criterion hopes to have the “Cagney” update rolled out in June. This will implement around 35 fixes, a Hunter Olympus SUV and an online calendar to keep players aware of online events planned for each weekend. “Cagney” will also add around 70 FreeBurn challenges.
