Namco’s MotoGP series has been appearing on the PlayStation 2 for quite a while and now the game is heading to the PSP for the first time. The game has been developed specifically for the PSP and hopes to combine the skills of the MotoGP series with fast-paced arcade style racing to suit short bursts of play.

The game uses the MotoGP championship license to deliver real bikes and tracks across single-player and multiplayer modes. Sadly there will be no online play, but there is local wireless play for up to eight players.

SCEE is yet to announce a release date for MotoGP on the PSP.
