The chances of Japanese GBA RPG Mother 3 getting a Western release have taken a blow, with Nintendo localisation manager Nate Bihldorff informing Planet GameCube that he isn’t working on the game.
“I’m not working on Mother 3. I don’t have all the writers under me, so there may be other people in discussions going on with it, but I wouldn’t look forward to it in the immediate future,” said Bihldorff.
It’s not been ruled out, but the signs aren’t good. Fans of the series may be left with no option, but to play through the Japanese version – even if you don’t understand most of what is happening.
