Activision has today announced that Grammy Award-winning legend and lead vocalist and bassist of Motörhead, Lemmy, will appear on stage alongside Lars, James, Kirk and Robert in Guitar Hero Metallica this spring.
Players will be able to experience Lemmy’s in-game likeness as he wails away on vocals and shreds his bass guitar – or play as the icon himself. Lemmy’s in-game likeness will be accompanied by Motörhead’s 2008 re-record of Ace of Spades.
Lemmy commented: “It’s great to be in Guitar Hero with all these famous people and I’m really pleased to be in it with Metallica…but James is still taller than me.”
Guitar Hero Metallica is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 this spring.
