The official system requirements for the PC version of Mortal Kombat X have been released on Steam, revealing specs which even casual gamers are likely to be able to meet.

The minimum specifications require a very modest graphics card in the GTX 460, with only the Intel Core i5 CPU being a slight stumbling block for those on budget builds.

MINIMUM:

  • OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz
  • AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
  • Memory: 3 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
  • AMD Radeon HD 5850
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

The recommended specs are a little tougher, but again there’s nothing there on the GPU side which is too demanding. The CPU requirement of an i7 is the biggest ask.

RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz
  • AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
  • AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 40 GB available space

Mortal Kombat X launches April 14 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be offered in all kinds of special editions.
