Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe turned out to be an enjoyable beat ’em up experience on its release late in 2008, but ko-kreator Ed Boon has revealed he’d hoped to expand the game with additional characters via DLC.
However, Boon admitted last week that he can’t see new characters being released any more, despite the fact “they were just about done”.
Yesterday, via his Twitter feed, Boon posted a picture of Quan Chi, a character who had bee planned as a downloadable add-on.
“Excited about MK9 and WB, but wish we could have released DLC for MKvsDC,” said Boon. “Here’s a peek..”
Perhaps Quan Chi’s appearance will now have to wait until Mortal Kombat 9.
