Update, August 21, 2.32pm:

The official roster reveal trailer has been released, confirming the appearances of Sindel, Terminator T-800, Joker, Spawn, and their launch dates. The pack will also include skin and gear with each of the DLC kombatants and 19 additional skins.

Original story, August 21, 11.12am:

The next four fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC Kombat Pack were leaked, showing that Terminator T-800, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn will arrive in stages to the latest Kombat game (via Eurogamer).

An official countdown video accidentally published the details in its thumbnail, and although the video was hastily removed, Redditors snapped up the image and posted it for all to see. Shang Tsung and Nightwolf have already been released, and we knew that Sindel and Spawn would be arriving to the game. Now, their launch dates and another two kombatants were revealed in the thumbnail image.

Terminator T-800 will make his grizzled, weathered appearance on October 8, which is a nice bit of promotion for the new Terminator film that releases a few weeks later. Joker will also crash onto the stage on January 28 2020, and he seems to have taken inspiration from Heath Ledger, Cameron Monaghan and the DC animated version, but definitely not Jared Leto.

Spooky Sindel has come straight from the Netherrealm in her Revenant skin, and will be released on November 26. Comic book character Spawn will appear in March 2020, and is garbed in his flashy red cape and weaponised chains, which I’m sure will cause painful final moments for the kombatants.

Fresh faces for old friends were also announced yesterday for the upcoming Mortal Kombat film, as Jax, Raiden, and Liu Kang were cast yesterday.

Mortal Kombat is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
