NetherRealm has lifted the veil on another returning fighter for Mortal Kombat 11, and he should be familiar to anyone who played the previous entry in the bloody decapitate-'em-up franchise.

Kotal Kahn, who was introduced in Mortal Kombat X, is back once again as a playable character. He's the emperor of Outworld, and is capable of channelling the power of sunlight and transforming himself into a blood-thirsty beastie of sorts.

The new trailer also offers us a better look at returning fighter Jacqui Briggs, including a gander at one of her Fatalities.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on April 23, with a Closed Beta kicking off on March 27.
