NetherRealm has confirmed that Kano is returning to crack some skulls in Mortal Kombat 11.

Kano was one of the original fighters in the first Mortal Kombat game, and his heart-ripping fatality is perhaps one of the most iconic finishers to come out of the brutal fighting game series.

His appearance doesn't seem to have changed much for MK11. He still sports a cybernetic eye, wields a deadly-looking blade, and has a penchant for brawling shirtless.

Oddly enough, when I think of Kano, I mostly recall his portrayal in the first Mortal Kombat movie. He was played by English actor Trevor Goddard, who I think nailed the part. 'Ello baby, did you miss me?' Classic stuff.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due for release on April 23 for PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. I played a bit of the game a few weeks back, and it's looking pretty sharp.
