Ubisoft has once again shown that it’s firmly behind the Wii. The publisher has announced that seven Ubisoft titles will be released inside the Wii launched window. While we don’t know the timeframe this window covers, it’s still great news for Wii fans.
As well as the previously announced Red Steel and Rayman: Raving Rabbids, Wii owners will be able to play Far Cry, Blazing Angels, Monster 4×4 World Circuit, Open Season, and the racing game GT Pro Series.
All the games will be enhanced to take advantage of the Wii controller, and other features will be added to make sure they’re not simple ports. Far Cry, for example, will be based on Far Cry Instincts Evolution, but will also include a new storyline, new maps, additional characters and brand-new equipment.
