Namco Bandai Games’ Family Ski & Snowboard, the sequel to the Wii Balance Board compatible skiing game, will be released across Europe in February 2009.

Additions include all-new high performance snowboarding, enhanced skiing functionality, two new mountains to conquer and an additional 10,000 vertical metres to carve through. The game will also feature support for custom characters and player Miis.

In addition to speeding down mountain sides, players will also have access to half-pipe courses and ski technique challenges, plus more leisurely activities including ski school, board school, moguls, slaloms, and animal search and rescue. There’s also four-player racing and free skiing modes, meaning family and friends will be able to get in on the action.
