Monster Madness: The Battle for Suburbia was announced in June 2005, but back then it was a game without a publisher. It has since been picked up by SouthPeak Games and is now set to arrive on Xbox 360 and Game for Windows in April 2007.
The game is a return to the oldskool overhead shooter but with the addition of the latest next-gen technologies. We’re promised an experience which is “relentlessly thrilling, consistently surprising and, above all, continually fun.
The game features single-player, co-op and head-to-head multiplayer, and pays homage to the B-movie horror genre. You play as one of four American college kids who must battle against hordes of the undead, with a selection of increasingly powerful homemade weapons at your disposal.
Monster Madness: The Battle for Suburbia will be released for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows in April.
