In its first free update next month, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will add Rajang, an electrifying Fanged Beast last seen in Monster Hunter 2.

Capcom announced the appearance in a trailer which shows off Rajang’s beastly brawn and a lot of yelling from hunter and monster alike. Described as an ‘ultra-aggressive creature that is rarely sighted and seldom survived’, Rajang is notorious for its speed and ferocity. It enjoys its own company, and if a hunter comes knocking, they’ll be met with electrifying attacks. Once it reaches Rage Mode, Rajang becomes a halcyon horror and is encased in a powerful Electric Aura. May the odds be ever in your favour, because it sounds like you’re going to need it.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, and on PC in January 2020. Watch the Rajang announcement trailer below.
