A trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter movie was shown at the Shanghai International Film Festival and has leaked online.
The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and it stars regular collaborator Milla Jovovich, who has been at the helm of the Resident Evil series since 2002. Alongside Jovovich is Tony Jaa, T.I., Ron Perlman, Diegon Boneta, and Meagan Good.
It looks… yes, it certainly looks like a film, doesn't it?
We don't know much at the minute about what the film is about, but from what you can see in the trailer, it seems to be about hunting monsters, and so in that sense it looks like it's on track to be a film of Monster Hunter.
Anderson is apparently a big fan of the Monster Hunter franchise, and he has described the film as a 'passion project.'
Monster Hunter is in theatres worldwide on September 2, 2020.
