Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U will be supported from launch with several months of free downloadable quests, Capcom and Nintendo have announced.

The first new quest will be available at launch on March 22.

In addition, an April game update will enable cross-region online multiplayer, allowing European and North American gamers to play together in four-player battles. The free update also adds off-screen play, making it possible to experience the game on the Wii U GamePad.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will also be released for 3DS on March 22.
