Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed a May 25 release date for the Play, Create, Share racing title ModNation Racers on PS3 and PSP.
While we’re still waiting for a firm European date, SCEE has said on the PlayStation blog that it is “aiming to release ModNation Racers across PAL regions during the same week” as in North America – May 28 would most likely be the day.
Also confirmed for the North American market – presumably to be announced for Europe at a later date – is a pre-order promotion for the PS3 version. Reserve a copy at one of three selected retailers and you’ll receive a special ModNation Racers version of Ratchet and Clank, Nathan Drake or Kratos.
Furthermore, SCEE has revealed that the European box art features Mods taken from the European beta test, meaning your creation could be there.
