GfK ChartTrack reports that Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has become the UK’s biggest-selling video game, overtaking Nintendo’s Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training.
Modern Warfare 2 takes the crown after just 41 weeks (only three weeks of which have been spent outside the Top 10), while Brain Training took around 36 months to overtake earlier record holder GTA: San Andreas.
What’s more, Modern Warfare 2 continues to sell well and is likely to do so for some time to come.
