Tetsuya Mizuguchi has resigned from Q Entertainment, CVG reports.
The Child of Eden and Rez creator reportedly left the studio last year along with CEO Shuji Utsumi. CVG reports that Utsumi’s resignation is “connected to an acquisition of Q Entertainment’s stock by Sanyo Chemical Industries”.
Q Entertainment has yet to confirm the departures.
Mizuguchi co-founded Q Entertainment in 2003 and went on to develop Child of Eden, Lumines and Every Extend Extra, and co-developed Ninety-Nine Nights 2 with feelplus.
The studio’s last major title Lumines Electronic Syphony released on PS Vita back in 2012.
