IGN’s got its hands on retail boxed copies of Mirror’s Edge and reading through the game’s manual spotted a Skate 2 ad which revealed the game’s release date.
According to the ad, Skate 2 will hit stores in “January 2009”. EA also confirmed to IGN that the January 2009 release month is accurate, but wasn’t able to pin the game down to a specific date. Skate 2 shouldn’t be confused with Wii and DS title Skate It! which will be in stores on November 20.
