A listing for Mirror’s Edge 2 has appeared on Amazon Germany.
The listing, which has since been removed, noted the game for release on Xbox 360, but the mock-up box fell in line with Xbox One’s recently revealed box art, suggesting the title could be headed to next-gen.
Last July, EA Games label boss Frank Gibeau said that a sequel to Mirror’s Edge was “on the list”, with DICE executive producer Patrick Bach later adding that the IP was “too good to kill”.
Mirror’s Edge released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November 2008.
EA is expected to unveil its next-gen line-up during E3 next month. Could Mirror’s Edge 2 be part of it?
