Mirror’s Edge 2 appears to be stuck in limbo, with the development team reportedly having moved on to another project. The news comes from Press2Play.tv, translated by Google.
Mirror’s Edge hit stores late in 2008 on the back of mixed reviews (it earned a 9/10 on VideoGamer.com), and a sequel was said to be in development, with a small team working on it.
Given EA’s recent success with Dead Space 2 – a sequel to an original IP that didn’t achieve amazing sales – it’s a shame the publisher isn’t trying to build on Mirrors Edge in the same way.
