Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Minecraft: PS4 Edition will not offer infinite game worlds like those found in the PC game, developer 4J Studios has revealed.

4J Studios says the restriction is a result of “save size limits” on Xbox One and PS4, but assures fans that worlds will be “a lot bigger than PS3/Xbox One”.

In other Minecraft news, the Xbox 360 Edition celebrates its second birthday with the re-release of the original Birthday Skin Pack for free, and the release of the new 2nd Birthday Skin Pack, which includes characters from Halo, Fable, Banjo and Vina Pinata.

There’s also a 50 per cent discount on skin and texture packs, not including the Marvel products.
