Minecraft Pocket Edition has now sold five million copies across mobile platforms, Mojang’s Johan Bernhardsson has revealed.
“5 million of you have bought Minecraft Pocket Edition,” Tweeted Bernhardsson. “Amazing! :)”
The Pocket Edition launched in November 2011, and has since received updates including the addition of crafting.
The mobile game’s sales figure added to known totals of 8 million on PC and 4.5 million on Xbox 360 makes a combined 17.5 million Minecraft sales.
