The original PC edition of Minecraft has now sold more than 20 million copies, Mojang’s business developer Daniel Kaplan has confirmed on twitter.
“20 million copies of Minecraft PC sold,” Tweeted Kaplan. That is crazy.
“Thanks everyone for supporting us <3 and thanks for sticking with us for so long!”
Back in January Minecraft: Pocket Edition had sold over 30 million copies across iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
The PC/Mac version is actually the lowest selling of all versions, surpassed by the console editions back in June 2014.
The PC version milestone comes just days ahead of Minecon 2015, taking place in London this weekend.
