Tickets for MINECON 2016 will go on sale on May 7, Mojang has announced.
The tickets will be sold in two batches to give fans in different time-zones a fairer chance of securing a place.
- May 7, 2am BST – 6000 tickets available
- May 7, 8pm BST – 600 tickets available
Tickets cost $160, with all those attending requiring a ticket. Under 3s do, however, go free. Up to six tickets can be purchased in a single order.
Reselling or the transfer of tickets is not allowed, with the person whose name is on the ticket at the time of purchase the only person who will be admitted to MINECON.
MINECON 2016 will take place September 24-25 at Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California.
The event promises panels discussing hot Minecraft topics, exhibitors showing off the cool stuff they’re doing with the game and a bunch of interactive attractions during the event. On Saturday night a live show will be available to all attendees.
