MindJack, a near-future, third-person action-shooter from feelplus, will be released in the UK on January 21, 2011, Square Enix has announced.
Set in AD 2031 when governments no longer govern, players will assume the role a Mind Hacker hacking into and controlling the minds of enemies to turn the tide of battle. At a time when technology has been created that can control minds, who is in control, what do they want and who can you trust?
The single-player action is also said to seamlessly transition into cooperative multiplayer gameplay.
A January launch looks like a pretty decent window for MindJack, with the new year release onslaught not really kicking in until February.
The month still features several heavy hitters, including EA’s Mass Effect 2 on PS3 and Dead Space 2, plus Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 2.
