Forbes reports that Midway, publisher of Unreal Tournament 3 and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, is feeling the hurt of the current economic climate, its stock hitting a 52-week low after losing 12 per cent of its market value.

Midway owner Redstone is also reported to be facing the possibility of selling more assets to help keep the publisher afloat.

At time of writing Midway stock stands at 79 cents a share.

Midway’s big hope for this Christmas is the release of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, confirmed for a European release on November 21.
