Middle-earth: Shadow of War is now out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In celebration of the new release Warner Bros. has revealed a launch trailer that’s packed to the brim with violence, action, plenty of posing and camera pans, loads of fire, and lots of beasts. It looks pretty good.

The trailer weighs in at almost three minutes and is peppered with expansive environments that really show the contrast between the different areas of Mordor. It features a number of dramatic shots of Talion standing in front of his group of buddies as he looks over a cliff into the hills, peering from the side of a building, and getting ready to face down Shelob (the massive spider/lady). The initial scenes are accompanied by mood setting orchestral music. It then completely kicks off when the camera swoops into the eye of Sauron, and we see Talion followed by his group as they rush towards an unseen foe cueing explosions, flames and dragons. All of the dragons.

Alice enjoyed her time with the game, especially the enhanced Nemesis system, and she wrote that ‘it makes you feel like you’re having a deeply personal experience, even if you’re not.’
