Microsoft will offer Xbox One users the option to extend their console’s warranty for three years by purchasing Microsoft Complete for £59.99.

Microsoft Complete offers an extended guarantee on your console, Kinect sensor and two Xbox One controllers. Without Microsoft Complete, all Xbox Ones will ship with a one year warranty.

Customers are able to purchase the extended warranty at the time of purchase if purchasing from a Microsoft Store, or by contacting Microsoft Store customer support via the Microsoft Store website.

Customers must complete the transaction within 45 days of purchasing their Xbox One in order to be protected under Microsoft Complete. A similar service is also available for Xbox 360.

“Microsoft Complete is an extended service plan for your new Xbox One console and Kinect. Microsoft Complete provides you with three total years of coverage for your console and Kinect sensor,” said Microsoft. “Additionally, Microsoft Complete provides a warranty for two controllers. Microsoft Complete is only available within the first 45 days after your purchase.”
