Microsoft has confirmed (via XBA) that eight new titles will be winging their way to the company’s Xbox Game Pass early next month, including strategy romp Halo Wars 2 and the muscle-bound WWE 2K17.

The new update, beginning February 1, will also add fellow sports title NBA 2K17 into the mix, alongside grisly actioner Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, lush-looking puzzler Rime, and scrabble/RPG mash-up, Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey.

The diverse lineup is further complemented by the Xbox classic Fable Anniversary (also a backwards compatible title) and aquatic-themed racer, Riptide Renegade GP. It’s also worth remembering that you can take Xbox Game Pass for a spin right now with a handy 14-day trial.

Once your taster is over, the service will set you back £7.99 per month if you choose to stick with it.
