Microsoft has announced Screamride, an Xbox-exclusive from Frontier Developments.
Frontier Developments has experience in the rollercoaster genre, having previously created the Rollercoaster Tycoon series.
Footage of the game shows a Pixar-art style, with theme park attendees riding dangerous attractions, many of which break and smash into the environment.
Screamride is due to launch in spring 2015.
