Codemasters has announced Toybox Turbos, a new top-down racer inspired by classic retro racer Micro Machines heading to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC later this year.
Launching on Steam on November 12 for £11.99 and available to download soon on Xbox 360 and PS3, Toybox Turbos features gameplay “that reflects Codemasters’ fondly remembered miniature racing titles of the 90s”, and sees players navigating toy cars across hazardous household environments.
18 circuits “inspired by childhood locations” are included in the download, along with 35 vehicles ranging from sports cars to ice cream vans. The game will ship with 6 game modes and include support for up to 4-play local and online multiplayer.
