The maker of Planet Michael, the MMO centred around the life of Michael Jackson, have signed a number of film-related IP including Total Recall, Waterworld, War of the World, Asterix, and Men in Black 3.
SEE Virtual Worlds has yet to announce its plans for the IP, however as reported by Eurogamer its CEO Martin Ballas has stated:
“These properties are tied to memorable moments and incredible characters that players are going to interact with in future SEE-created digital and online interactive video games.”
SEE’s series of MMOs are part of its collection, The Entropia Universe, which features the themed free-to-play MMO planets. Players are able to create avatars, explore the licensed worlds, and take part in the Real Cash Economy.
