Ubisoft has announced the worldwide Q4 2011 release of Michael Jackson The Experience for Nintendo 3DS and NGP. Players will use the touch functionality of each handheld to move in time with the choreographies seen on screen.

15 of Michael Jackson’s most famous songs will be included along with unique stages for each. As players perform by drawing shapes on the screen, special effects and animated backgrounds will be unlocked. Stages include the ghoul-infested graveyard dance from Thriller, the luxurious Palace of the Pharaoh from Remember the Time, and the seedy underworld nightclub from Smooth Criminal.

Back in January Ubisoft announced that Michael Jackson Experience had sold in excess of 2 million copies. Versions for Xbox 360 and PS3 were released in April.
