Hunters is the first game announced from Nintendo to support voice chat functionality, and it has certainly be something DS gamers have been wanting, almost expecting, given that the handheld already has the hardware required to make it possible.

Don’t get too excited though. Despite supporting voice chat, this functionality will only be possible in the pre and post match lobbies. This means no taunting your opponents during the match, but at least you can have it bottled up for a bit of smack talk after the game. Why Hunters won’t support in match chat is a mystery, but hey – at least Nintendo is moving on the right direction.
