The latest instalment in the Metroid series is here too: Metroid Prime 4 Beyond.
Announced at this year’s Nintendo Direct, the latest title has had a very slim look with a blend of gameplay and cinematic – and it looks like one of the most phenomenal games on the Switch yet.
The game continues the first-person tradition that modern Metroid titles allow you to adopt as you step into the Samus’ shoes once again.
With a blend of shooting and platforming, the game allows you to revisit many of the same mechanics first introduced when Metroid came along all those years ago.
Release is planned for 2025, which is a very vague release window, although we know that it’s going to be coming eventually.
