Nintendo would put its fingers in its ears and scream ‘LALALALALA’ anytime fans mentioned the Metroid series over the last few years, but at Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight, the Japanese publisher confirmed they were listening, after all.

Metroid Prime 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch. This will be the first Metroid Prime game since 2007’s Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Since then, there have been a few Metroid titles kicking about, but none have satiated fans’ desires.

We know little to nothing other than its name and the console it will be on. It’s safe to say this may not launch for a bit.
